Debit Coin (DBC) Seigniorage Accrual

From the moment the CENTUS market cap exceeded USD 10 million the DBC owners, in accordance with the CENTUS White Paper, began to receive seigniorage in the amount of 10% of the total accruals amount (the total amount includes, among other things, the seigniorage on DBC).

On April 13 and 16, seigniorage was accrued not only to CENTUS holders, but also to DBC holders.

How the DBC seigniorage is calculated:

At the moment when CENTUS market cap had reached USD 10 million, the seigniorage payments at a rate of 0.52% to CENTUS holders amounted to 5,200,000 CENTUS (52,000 USD) or 90% of the total amount of accrued seigniorage, taking into account that another 10% or 577,700 CENTUS (5,777 USD) were paid to DBC holders who had at least 100 DBC on their accounts, TOTAL 5,777,700 CENTUS or 46,221,600 CENTUS per month (462,216 USD).

With each increase of CENTUS market cap by USD 10 million, the amount of seigniorage paid to DBC holders will increase exponentially, FOR EXAMPLE:

with a market cap of USD 20 million and a seigniorage rate of 0.52%, payments to DBC owners will amount to 20% of the total amount, that is 2,600,000 CENTUS or 20,800,000 CENTUS per month (208,000 USD);
with a market cap of USD 30 million and a seigniorage rate of 0.52%, payments to DBC owners will amount to 30% of the total amount, that is, 6,685,700 CENTUS or 53,485,600 CENTUS per month (534,856 USD);
with a market cap of USD 40 million and a seigniorage rate of 0.52%, payments to DBC owners will amount to 40% of the total amount, that is, 13,866,600 CENTUS or 110,932,800 CENTUS per month (1,109,328 USD);
with a market cap of USD 50 million and a seigniorage rate of 0.52%, payments to DBC owners will be 50% of the total amount, that is, 26,000,000 CENTUS or 208,000,000 CENTUS per month (2,080,000 USD)

If we evaluate the cost of DBC on April 18, 2021 on the PURCHASE Price (0.007 XLM), the DBC market cap is approximately 7,000,000 XLM or 3,766,000 USD.

Taking into account that 350 million unsold DBC tokens are on the CENTUS balance (the so-called treasury tokens), the real capitalization of DBC amounted to 4,550,000 XLM or 2,447,900 USD.

Accordingly, to date, the seigniorage paid on DBC is +/- 0.2359% per token.

Under this calculation type, the profitability per one accrual will grow with the growth of CENTUS market cap as follows:

upon reaching the market cap of USD 20 million, the profitability will increase 4.5 times and amount to 1.0615% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 30 million, the profitability will increase 11.5 times and amount to 2.7128% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 40 million, the profitability will increase 24 times and will amount to 5.6616% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 50 million, the profitability will increase 45 times and amount to 10.6155% per one accrual.

If we evaluate the cost of DBC on April 18, 2021 on the SELLING Price (0.01 XLM), the DBC market cap was approximately 10,000,000 XLM or 5,300,000 USD.

Taking into account that 350 million unsold DBC tokens are on the CENTUS balance (the so-called treasury tokens), the real capitalization of DBC amounted to 6,500,000 XLM or 3,445,000 USD.

Accordingly, to date, the seigniorage paid on DBC is +/- 0.1676% per token.

Under this calculation type, the profitability per one accrue will grow with the growth of CENTUS market cap as follows:

upon reaching the market cap of USD 20 million, the profitability will increase 4.5 times and amount to 0.7542% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 30 million, the profitability will increase by 11.5 times and amount to 1.9274% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 40 million, the profitability will increase 24 times and amount to 4.0224% per one accrual;
upon reaching the market cap of USD 50 million, the profitability will increase 45 times and amount to 7.542% per one accrual.
